Dr. Kristen Brown

Kristen Brown earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of California Berkeley, School of Optometry in 1992. She completed two Ocular Disease Residencies – from New England College of Optometry and Boston University School of Medicine – and a two-year fellowship at the Pacific Cataract and Laser Center. Dr. Brown is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and a Diplomate in the Cornea Contact Lens and Refractive Technology section of the AAO.

Dr. Brown has 27 years of experience as a clinician, an educator, and an industry leader. She has held academic appointments at multiple optometric institutions, including NECO, serving in a number of different leadership roles. Most recently she was the Clinical Director at TLC Laser Eye Centers Boston and Providence, where she was responsible for managing clinical operations and maintaining their large affiliated doctor network. Dr. Brown is now a senior associate at Forefront Eye Care and Chief Operations Officer at Eyewell.
