Justine Pidgeon returns to Korb & Associates as an optometrist, though you may remember her in the office as part of the optical and research staff before she started optometry school. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Boston University and her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. She has had clinical training in ocular disease, dry eye, specialty contact lenses, pediatric and adolescent eye care, binocular vision, and myopia management during internships in hospital, community health center, VA health center, and private practice settings.
While Dr. Pidgeon provides full-scope optometric care to patients of all ages, her clinical and research interests lie in myopia management, adolescent dry eye, and pediatric eye care. She is one of the few practitioners in Boston certified for both MiSight® 1-Day and Paragon CRT® methods for myopia control. In addition to seeing patients for primary eye care, myopia control and dry eye management at Korb & Associates, she serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the New England College of Optometry, where she precepts first-year and second-year optometry students on local school vision screenings and for several clinical education courses including both Ocular Disease Principles, Clinical Simulation and Introduction to Patient Care.
Dr. Pidgeon is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry where she is pursuing her fellowship. In her free time, she enjoys visiting museums, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their rescue dog, Dostowoofsky (“Dosto”). She is accepting new patients.
